It is vitally important regardless of what stage your business is at, to
continue to invest in marketing. But marketing is a broad term and covers all
those skills and tools that are used to bring your product to market in the
first place as well as those that are directly involved in securing sales.
Research to establish your market (and making sure there is one), branding
concepts in terms of actual product design, as well as packaging and
presentation.

If you are providing a
service rather than selling a product you may not think this applies to
you, but it is just as important to brand your business correctly as it
is to brand a new motor car or toy. If you get this wrong, your future
efforts will be hampered or even wasted.
Once you are happy with
your product or service, you must then consider the method and manner of
sale, and how you are going to promote your product to your target
audience. |
